Both China and Europe firmly support multilateralism, the central role of the United Nations in international affairs, and the settlement of disputes by peaceful means. Slovenia will hold the rotating presidency of the European Union (EU) in the second half of next year. China and Europe should enhance dialogue and communication and provide fair, just and non-discriminatory business environment for the enterprises of the other side, in the spirit of equality, mutual benefit and win-win cooperation. China hopes that Slovenia will take this opportunity to facilitate the process of European integration, and make even greater progress in the China-Europe relations and the cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries.

Slovenia has always been committed to advancing the cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries, and believes that this mechanism is a valuable opportunity to carry out mutually beneficial cooperation between Central and Eastern European countries and China, and that it is also conducive to promoting Europe-China cooperation.
