Wang Yi: China and Eurasian Countries Should Continue to Firmly Support Each Other's Efforts in Safeguarding Sovereignty, Security and Development Interests
2019/11/29

On November 29, 2019, State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi met in Beijing with diplomatic envoys of Eurasian countries to China.

Wang Yi expressed, the current international situation sees even more prominent risks of all kinds and various challenges. Therefore we must continue to firmly support each other. Some western forces including the United States are brutally interfering in China's internal affairs with Hong Kong and Xinjiang issues as a cover. Eurasian countries are familiar with the practice of stirring up troubles and engineering color revolutions in other countries under the pretext of democracy and human rights. Eurasian countries themselves have been the victims. For this reason, we must further enhance political mutual trust, continue to support each other in safeguarding sovereignty, security and development interests, and support each other in choosing a development path that suits its national conditions.
