On 5th November 2021, H.E. Ambassador Yu Dunhai met with Hon. Clint Camilleri, Minister for Gozo of Malta. 
 
Minister Camilleri happily recalled his visit to China and spoke highly of Malta-China relations. He expressed Gozo's sincere hopes to strengthen cooperation with China in developing clean energy, infrastructure construction, cultural and local exchanges.

Ambassador Yu said that China-Malta relations have withstood the test of vicissitudes. The two sides enjoy solid political mutual trust and have carried out fruitful cooperation in many areas. China looks forward to taking the opportunity of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation so as to better benefit the two peoples.
