On 22nd May 2007, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Malta, H.E. Mr. Chai Xi paid a courtesy call on the Honourable Dr. Alfred Sant, the Leader of the Malta Labour Party. The two sides had a friendly and frank talk recalling the time-honoured friendship between the Communist Party of China and the Malta Labour Party and hoping to strengthen further the party-to-party relations in the future.
