The Chinese Embassy in Malta showcased books on China's economy, culture, diplomacy, military, religion, tourism, Tibet, Taiwan, contemporary literature, etc. at this year's Malta Labor Party Book Fair between 20th and 22nd April.

Malta Labor Party leader Dr Alfred Sant opened the book fair at the Malta Labor Party headquarters in Hamrun. Mr. Tang Youjing, Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Malta, attended the opening ceremony.

The annual book fair has being held for the ninth consecutive year to commemorate World Book Day and it's the first time for the Embassy to be invited to participate in the event. The books on display at the fair will be donated to local council libraries by the book fair organizer.
