Ambassador Yu Dunhai Participates in "Imagining China" Children's Art Competition Award Ceremony

On 16th March 2021, H.E. Ambassador Yu Dunhai participated in the 12th “Imagining China” Children’s Art Competition Award Ceremony together with Hon. Dr Justyne Caruana, Minister for Education.

In their speeches, Ambassador Yu and Minister Caruana spoke highly of China-Malta relations. They said that that even though our two countries are different in size and population, we have respected and supported each other and formed profound traditional friendship. People-to-people exchanges not only brings the peoples of China and Malta closer, but also promotes exchanges and mutual learning between China and the west.

Ambassador Yu and Minister Caruana extended their congratulations to the winning students and encouraged them to continue to work hard and become ambassadors of China-Malta friendship, making contributions to the common development of the two countries.

Ambassador Yu and Minister Caruana then awarded the winners together.

“Imagining China” Children’s Art Competition is co-organized by the China Cultural Centre in Malta and the Ministry for Education of Malta, which is warmly welcomed by Maltese students. The theme of the 12th edition of the competition is “Magnificent China”. The competition attracted 153 entries from 18 schools and is divided into two age groups. The top 3 works from each group were selected as the winners.
